Each week, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) adds new filings to ongoing and new proceedings that may affect utility services, communities, and consumers in the state. These filings include Proposed Decisions, which are often open for public comment, as well as new complaints or applications that could influence future policy and regulatory actions.

For the week of September 1-5, 2025, two Proposed Decisions have been listed. The first concerns Proceeding A25-01-008, filed on September 2, 2025. This Proposed Decision recommends revoking the certificate of public convenience and necessity for California Water Service Company’s Millerton District. The filing is available for review and public comment on the CPUC’s Docket Card.

The second item is from Proceeding R12-02-009, filed on September 5, 2025. This Proposed Decision denies two petition requests to modify decision 12-12-036. The document can also be accessed through its Docket Card.

Members of the public can participate by submitting written comments directly on a proceeding’s Docket Card or by subscribing to receive updates using the proceeding number through the CPUC’s Subscription Service.

“Stay Informed and Make Your Voice Heard!” stated the CPUC announcement.
