Each week, new filings are submitted to ongoing and new proceedings that affect California’s utility services, communities, and consumers. These filings include Proposed Decisions, which are often open for public comment, as well as new complaints or applications that could influence future policy and regulatory actions.

For those interested in participating, written comments can be submitted directly on the proceeding’s Docket Card if a Proposed Decision is listed. Additionally, stakeholders can subscribe to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Subscription Service using the proceeding number to receive updates, rulings, and notices.

The following filings were recorded during the week of October 6-10, 2025:

On October 6, 2025, Santa Barbara Airbus, Inc., doing business as Santa Barbara Airbus (PSC-1262), filed an application seeking authority to increase base fares and continue maintaining a Zone of Rate Freedom.

On October 7, 2025, Pacific Gas and Electric Company submitted an application requesting an increase in its authority to finance short-term borrowing needs by $2.0 billion, raising the aggregate amount not to exceed $10.5 billion.

On October 8, 2025, an Order Instituting Rulemaking was filed to oversee the Resource Adequacy Program. This rulemaking aims to consider program reforms and refinements and establish forward resource adequacy procurement obligations.

Members of the public are encouraged to submit comments on any Proposed Decision through the CPUC Docket Card or subscribe to a proceeding using its number for future updates.
