Beginning December 1, the City of Oakland’s Planning & Building department will increase its service hours at the One-Stop Permit Center. The department will now provide services five days a week, including specific times for walk-in visitors as well as both in-person and virtual appointments.

According to city officials, these changes aim to improve access and convenience for Oakland residents and businesses seeking permits or property records. Appointments can be scheduled online, and the Online Permit Center remains available around the clock for permitting and property record services.

“Thanks for doing business with us!” stated the announcement from Planning & Building.
