Each week, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) releases updates on new filings that affect utility services, communities, and consumers in the state. These filings include Proposed Decisions open for public comment and new complaints or applications that may influence future policy and regulatory actions.

For the week of September 8-12, 2025, several notable filings were made. In Proceeding A25-04-015, San Diego Gas & Electric Company submitted an application seeking authority to establish a ratemaking mechanism for energization projects as required by Senate Bill 410. This filing is currently open for public comment.

Another filing from the same week includes a Proposed Decision in Proceeding R20-02-008. The decision denies two petition requests to modify decision 12-12-036.

Additionally, a new complaint was filed under Proceeding C25-08-017 by Pilot Services, LLC. The company applied for registration as a Telephone Corporation pursuant to Public Utilities Code Section 1013.

The CPUC encourages members of the public to participate in these proceedings. Written comments can be submitted directly on each proceeding’s Docket Card. Individuals can also subscribe to specific proceedings using their numbers to receive ongoing updates, rulings, and notices through the CPUC’s Subscription Service.
