Each week, new filings are submitted to ongoing and new proceedings that affect California’s utility services, communities, and consumers. These filings include Proposed Decisions open for public comment as well as complaints or applications that could influence future policy.

For the week of July 28 to August 1, 2025, several notable filings were made with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).

One Proposed Decision concerns the Test Year 2025 General Rate Case for Southern California Edison Company. Another Proposed Decision grants a joint application for a change of control involving Crimson Pipeline, L.P. and San Pablo Bay Pipeline Company, LLC.

New applications filed include Axxess Networks, LLC seeking registration as a telephone corporation under Public Utilities Code Section 1013. There is also a joint application from Charter Communications, Inc., Charter Communications Holdings, LLC, and Cox Enterprises, Inc. requesting approval for the indirect transfer of control of Cox California Telcom, LLC under Public Utilities Code Section 854.

Members of the public can submit comments on any Proposed Decision through the CPUC Docket Card. Stakeholders may also subscribe to specific proceedings using their numbers in order to receive updates and notices directly from the CPUC.
