Members of IAM Local SC 711 at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with M1 Support Services and its subcontractors. The contract, effective January 1, 2026, covers workers in 29 skilled trade classifications, including aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, supply clerks, and librarians.
The agreement includes an 11.4% compounded general wage increase over the term of the contract: 4.5% in the first year, 3.5% in the second year, and 3% in the third year. Members will receive increased paid leave with an additional eight hours of sick leave for all members and a five percent increase in 401(k) contributions. The IAM pension is maintained under this contract.
Other features include an additional $390 per month earned during the life of the contract, company-covered increases to the rehabilitation plan, new on-call and standby pay provisions, and language protecting overtime pay.

IAM Local SC 711 became an independent local chapter in 2016 after previously being part of an amalgamated local located more than 25 miles away. The decision was made so that members could better represent their specific needs locally.
