The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has announced the availability of two separate Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) for its members during the holiday season. These programs provide confidential support around the clock to union members and their families.

In a statement, the IAM said, “As we move through the holiday season, we wish every member and their families a happy holidays. We support you, your family, and your loved ones through what can be a challenging time.”

The union emphasized that resources are available for everyone experiencing difficulties. The National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline can be reached by dialing 988, or individuals can text 988 or visit 988lifeline.org to access help via text. In emergencies where there is an immediate threat to life, people are urged to call 911.

IAM’s message highlights its commitment to supporting its members’ well-being throughout the year and especially during periods that may bring added stress.
