Ivy Geilker has been named Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, following an appointment by International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) International President Brian Bryant. The new role, which begins September 1, 2025, will place Geilker under the leadership of IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett.
Geilker’s experience with organizing efforts includes multiple campaigns that brought pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff at companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy into The Pharmacy Guild/IAM. These companies are recognized as Fortune 500 organizations.
Prior to joining IAM Healthcare in February 2024 as an Associate Organizer, Geilker was Senior Lead Organizer for the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that position she managed field staff who represented workers across state hospitals, public health departments, university campuses, and other workplaces.
