The City of Oakland has started the 2026 business tax renewal period. Business owners received their Business Tax Declarations by mail on December 12, and the Revenue Management Bureau’s online portal is now available for renewals and payments. The city reminds businesses that both declarations and payments must be completed by March 2, 2026, to avoid late fees.

Payments can be submitted through mail, in person at the office, or online. The city notes that using the online portal is a quick process that takes only a few minutes. For those with limited time, renewing online at https://ltss.oaklandnet.com/ is encouraged.
