Oakland Police seek public help to find missing man Gerardo Murillo-Zamora

The Oakland Police Department asked for the public’s assistance on April 15 in locating Gerardo Murillo-Zamora, a 76-year-old man who is considered at risk due to his age.

Murillo-Zamora was last seen on April 14 around 10:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of Fruitvale Avenue. He is also known to visit Berkeley. According to police, he was wearing a black hat, navy-colored hoodie, white T-shirt, and blue jeans when he was last seen.

Police described Murillo-Zamora as a Latino male, standing five feet eight inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.

Authorities urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Oakland Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at (510) 238-3641.
