The Oakland Police Department is seeking help from the public and media to find Desirae Dumas, a 13-year-old girl who has been reported missing. Dumas was last seen on September 25, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m. in the 2500 block of 64th Avenue. At the time, she was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

According to police, Dumas is described as a Black female, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Her family states that while she is in good physical health, she faces mental health challenges.

“The Oakland Police Department requests assistance from our community and media partners in locating Missing Person Desirae Dumas, who is at risk due to Age,” said the department in a statement.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Oakland Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at (510) 238-3641.
