The Oakland Police Department is seeking help from the public and media to find Joanna Perez, a 16-year-old who has been reported missing. According to police, Perez was last seen on September 27, 2025, at about 4:00 p.m. in the 4900 block of Congress Avenue. She was wearing a gray hoodie and black jeans at the time.

Perez is described as a Hispanic female, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 90 pounds. She has purple hair and brown eyes. The family has stated that while Perez is in good physical health, she experiences mental health challenges.

Anyone with information regarding her location is asked to contact the Oakland Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at (510) 238-3641.
