Visit California has released a new video titled “California Loves Canada,” highlighting the longstanding relationship between California and Canadian visitors. The video features scenes from various locations across the state and aims to show appreciation for Canadian travelers.

The campaign recognizes that Canadians have been important contributors to California’s tourism industry over many years, helping shape its culture and economy. The video includes images of popular activities such as enjoying local food, surfing on the coast, and spending time outdoors, while extending an open invitation to Canadians.

“Whether it’s indulging in the culinary scene, catching waves along the coast, or simply soaking up the sun, this video offers a simple, sincere message to Canadians: You’re always welcome in California,” Visit California stated.

In partnership with Expedia, Visit California is also launching special promotions and planning resources designed for Canadian tourists who are considering trips to the state.
